Affordable Housing Project Approved in Shropshire
A proposed affordable housing project for a site in Shropshire has been approved.Shropshire Towns and Rural Housing sought the go-ahead to build 40 properties on land adjacent to Aspen Grange, Weston Rhyn.The scheme comprises the construction of 12 houses, ten bungalows and 18 apartments, split between two and three bedrooms.Two of the three-bedroom houses will be developed for shared ownership with the remainder for affordable rent.It is anticipated that the homes will be managed by STAR Housing.A community facility will provide an office base for STAR Housing staff during weekdays and a room that could be used by residents.Plans have now been approved, subject to conditions.
