Apartment scheme set for green light
A twice deferred plan for an apartment-led mixed-use scheme on Belfast’s Falls Road is set to move forward after being recommended for approval.Acting on behalf of Scarsdale Properties LLP, TSA Planning is seeking approval to develop 13 apartments and amenity space at 93-95 Falls Road. The scheme also envisages retail accommodation at ground-floor level. The full application was deferred for a second time at planning committee in September to allow the developer time to undertake further engagement with local residents who were opposed to the apartment development at this location on parking and other issues. The scheme, which aims to provide affordable housing for over 55s, has been recommended for approval.
