Plans in for landmark Plymouth facility
A proposed multimillion-pound health centre, which could revolutionise treatment in Plymouth, has moved a step closer with the application having now been submitted.The West End Health and Wellbeing Centre has been designed to bring ‘health to the high street’ by combining services ranging from doctors and dentists to counsellors and pharmacists in one building.The facility would be located at Colin Campbell Court in the west end of the city. It is hoped it would help kick-start the regeneration of the area with thousands of people visiting it a day.Plymouth City Council and the NHS are working together on the project.
