200-home development plans come forward
Proposals have been revealed for a development of 200 homes on a site in South Yorkshire.Bellway Homes, supported by Johnson Mowat, has requested an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening opinion from Doncaster Council for a development on land off Crabgate Lane, Skellow.The proposed development would comprise 200 homes. There would be a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced properties, with 46 affordable housing units (23 per cent).A large area of public open space would be created, providing a buffer between the development site and the A1.The developer is in talks with Northern Trust and its adviser Pegasus Group, who are preparing to submit an outline planning application on the neighbouring parcel of land, in order to support good design.
