Housing development plans for Stokesley site
Plans have been submitted for a development of 25 homes on the site of a derelict farm building in Stokesley.Under the proposal, a mix of two-, three- and four-bedrooms homes would be built by North Yorkshire’s Brierley Homes Ltd. Seven affordable homes are included within the development to help those who would otherwise struggle to get onto the property ladder.A planning application has been submitted for the development on land situated off Westlands Road, to be called Levens Pastures. If approved, work could start on site before the end of summer.Brierley Homes is North Yorkshire County Council’s housing development company. It is part of the Brierley Group, the trading arm of the council.
