Refusal looms for affordable housing scheme
An application proposing the construction of almost 40 affordable homes in Derbyshire has been recommended for refusal.Treville Properties Ltd and Great Places are seeking the go-ahead to build 38 homes on approximately 2.4 acres of land adjacent to Bridgemont near to Whaley Bridge.The scheme would comprise a mix of one-bedroom flats, two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and a number of two-bedroom bungalows.It is intended that 100 per cent of the project be for social housing.Plans will be reviewed by High Peak Borough Council’s planning committee on 14 February.
