Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire acquires former quarry site
Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire has completed the purchase of a former quarry site in north Leeds for a development of almost 300 homes.The housebuilder is now preparing plans for a flagship development of housing.The proposed Woodside Vale development would comprise 299 homes and new areas of public open space, as well as improved connectivity to the surrounding public footpath network.Taylor Wimpey purchased the land from Burford Delta, with the sale was dealt with by Cushman & Wakefield.The project is being led by Jenny Purple, land and planning director at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, with the support of the land purchasing team.Work is set to start on site at the end of this month, with showhomes due to open in the autumn of this year.
