A pipeline has been launched for Border Force CPV Active – MSER – and visit to vessel.The contract start Date is 13 June 2022. Approach to market date is 21 February 2022.A Border Force Coastal Patrol Vessel (CPV Active) requires a Maintenance and Safety Equipment Recertification. Please register your interest by 18th February if you wish to visit the vessel in March 2022.A maximum of 10 working days are envisaged for this requirement, with completion no later than 24th June 2022.As this package of works will take place somewhere on the coast of Scotland (includes islands) between Gretna and Lamberton, interested parties from within this region are invited to register their interest in this opportunity by contacting Ian McDermott at ian.mcdermott@homeoffice.gov.uk in the first instance.CPV Active will be available for viewing on 8th and 22nd March 2022, subject to operational demands, at a location close to Glasgow. To arrange a visit please register interest with Andrew Scott at andrew.scott1@homeoffice.gov.uk by Friday 18th February 2022, stating your preferred date and time.We can accommodate a maximum of two representatives from each organisation, and we recommend one of those should be a qualified engineer. We expect each viewing to last about one hour.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
