Abri to bring 54 sustainably heated affordable homes to Reading
A new development of sustainably heated homes is to be delivered in Reading by housing provider Abri.One of the south’s largest housing providers, Abri has purchased land at 115 Chatham Street to provide 54 new affordable homes.The new development will feature 100% affordable homes, with 42 homes available to buy through shared ownership and 12 homes for rent.The homes will be built by Abri’s in-house construction management team on the site of a former office building, with work expected to start from summer 2022. The homes will be heated by air-source heat pumps, which extract renewable heat from the outside air.
