Homes planned for former school site
The development of more than 100 homes has been proposed for the site of a former school in Worcestershire.Taylor Wimpey and Severn Academies Educational Trust have lodged plans to build 110 properties on land formerly occupied by Stourport Sixth Form Centre.Extending to approximately 10.1 acres, the application site is currently in the green belt but is proposed to be removed within the emerging local plan and is allocated for residential development.The scheme comprises a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, with 92 for private sale and 18 allocated as affordable.The majority of residents’ parking is on-plot, along with the provision of single garages to the larger four-bedroom family houses.
