Go-ahead expected for business units scheme
Plans for three business units at the Frontier Park commercial site near Blackburn have been recommended for approval.The proposed buildings on land at the Blackburn Road site, Knuzden, have a gross internal floorspace of 18,200 sq ft split between the three units.Each unit would benefit from their own parking, loading bays, internal access roads, turning head, visitor parking and landscaping. A new access has been created from the approved road to Frontier Park and the internal road would run along the northern boundary of the industrial units.The retrospective application has been now recommended for approval subject to conditions in an officer’s report set to be considered by Hyndburn planners.Hyndburn Council’s planning committee meets on Wednesday, 23 March.
