Work to begin on 77 apartments for London Affordable Rent in Ealing

Work is set to start on phase 4a of the Green Man Lane regeneration project in Ealing, the completion of which will see 77 new apartments available for London Affordable Rent.The scheme – located on Felix Road, West Ealing – is being developed by A2Dominion and built by Real, which has entered into a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA).Architectural planning work has already been carried out by Conran & Partners.In addition to the affordable housing, a new community centre is being built to complement the new primary school and community café that have already been delivered.The new homes will be situated in two apartment buildings with a landscaped courtyard to the rear.The enabling works are due to begin shortly, with the construction of the new homes starting later in the year.As part of the drive for greater energy efficiency and lower carbon emissions, the new homes will access the existing site-wide energy scheme for Green Man Lane, which has already been delivered in an earlier phase of the development.There will also be PV panels on each building’s roof, providing electricity in line with the development’s overall sustainability aims.
