Housebuilder snaps up Leicestershire development site
A national housebuilder has acquired greenfield land in Leicestershire to pave the way for new homes.The 5.2 acres in the village of Wymeswold was brought to market by Mather Jamie acting as the sole agent and working co-operatively with Rainier Developments, which had promoted the site for housing and successfully obtained outline planning permission for 65 properties.The land has now been sold on an unconditional basis to Dandara, which expects to start work later in 2022.Dandara was founded 30 years ago and now has eight locations across England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man and Jersey.
