Consent granted for warehouse scheme
Prime Property Consultancy has secured planning permission to build two new speculative industrial warehouses in Blackburn.The units, on Lower Eccleshill Road, measure 55,229 sq ft and 51,000 sq ft respectively. Both units will be of a traditional steel portal frame construction with an eaves height of 12m. Additionally, both will benefit from a 500Kva power supply and low density site coverage which will allow for substantial yard areas and staff car parking. Completion is expected in the spring of 2023.Occupier demand for new build manufacturing and warehousing space within Blackburn and the M65 corridor continues unabated. It is typified by schemes such as Frontier Park which has seen more than 800,000 sq ft let in the last three years.
