Transport for London has over 200 escalator assets to renew and maintain. This framework will allow for the provision of Step and Auxiliary chains.
Escalator step chain is manufactured bespoke to LUL specifications and technical drawings.
Auxiliary chains are supplied to EN, BSI and ANSI standards as required.
A single supplier is required for the supply of Auxiliary chain.
A multi vendor framework is required for the supply if escalator step chains. Which will allow for mini competitions of packages of requirements.
