Work begins on £7.8m green residential scheme
Work has begun on a new £7.8m residential development in Ashbourne which has been described as “the most energy efficient affordable housing scheme ever built” in the area.Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is working in partnership with Derbyshire Dales District Council to deliver the development on Mayfield Road.Located on the site of a former service station and garage, the gas-free scheme designed by architects Player Roberts Bell will consist of 37 new affordable homes.NCHA has partnered with MyPad for the build, with work expected to be completed by winter 2023-2024.19 homes will be available for affordable rent and 18 will be sold for shared ownership.
