Pipeline Framework: The provision of Residential Data Services to the Valuation Office Agency
A pipeline has been launched for The provision of Residential Data Services to the Valuation Office Agency. The contract start Date is 4 August 2022. Approach to market date is 1 July 2022.The VOA requires a reliable and regularly updated supply of accurate residential property data, which is sufficient to support a wide variety of valuation purposes; but specifically to maintain the accuracy of the Council Tax valuation lists, ensure the quality and completeness of our data, reduce the need for physical inspections and to increase timeliness of response to taxpayers and limit the burden on occupiers to provide information about their properties. The data should comprise of information relating to the physical characteristics, marketing and transactional information of individual properties. The data will only be required for residential properties. This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly. When a public sector organisation publishes a pipeline notice, it does not necessarily mean that an opportunity will be offered in the future. For more information contact: Valuation Office Agency, Wingate House,93-107 Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D5DA.
