Apartment development proposed for Kelham Island site

A new development of more than 120 apartments could be built on a site in Sheffield’s Kelham Island area if newly submitted plans get the go-ahead.RS Sabkha Construction and Developments Ltd has submitted a full planning application to Sheffield City Council for the redevelopment of a site on Corporation Street.Planning permission is sought for the demolition of the existing buildings on the land and construction of a new six-storey building.The development would comprise 122 apartments, with a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom units.
