The National Dispatching Centre of Mongolia is a power system and electricity-market operator.
Mongolia’s power sector is facing numerous challenges across generation, transmission, and distribution functions.
The coal-fired Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants and transmission/distribution infrastructure are antiquated and inefficient; reserve capacity is insufficient.
