Provision of Car Parking Services at Portsmouth International Port
Portsmouth City Council is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced car parking contractors for the management of the multi storey car park at Portsmouth International Port. The successful operator will provide day to day management of the car park to include pre-booking facilities, collection of income, day to day upkeep of the site, provision of a shuttle service between the car park and the terminal building for infirm passengers, valet parking and the security of the site.
The arrangement will be let on the basis of a service concession contract with an attached operating lease agreement. Turnover generated via the service has averaged 215 000 GBP per annum over the past 5 years.The service will commence on 1st November 2018 and will run for an initial period of 5 years with an option to extend to a maximum total of 10 years. A site tour and bidders briefing is scheduled for 9.3.2018 11:00. The deadline for submission of tender returns is 29.3.2018 14:00.
