Plans go in for new enterprise parkA planning application has been submitted by Mercia Real Estate for the development of a parcel of land at Landywood Enterprise Park in Walsall.The application is for the proposed demolition of existing buildings and construction of a new 66,000 sq ft building including ancillary offices on the first floor.The site is currently occupied by a collection of existing commercial units which will be demolished in order to deliver the new scheme.Jack Guest, asset and estate manager for Mercia Real Estate, said: “We are delighted to have submitted plans for the redevelopment of this site.“The development proposals will provide significant investment on an employment site and therefore improve the economic profile of the wider area.
