4. Description: The Awarding Authority has identified the need for a Power bank facility in its three Emergency departments to meet both patient and visitor needs.
The provider would be required to supply, install and manage this service whereby patients and visitors can obtain power banks to recharge their mobile devices without the need for involvement by Healthboard staff.
It is preferable but not essential that providers have previously supplied equipment into hospitals or similar environments.
Equipment provided will need to have all the required certification including Fire Risk Assessment, EMC certification and Health and Safety certification. This list is not exhaustive.
All site requirements will need to be fully outlined in the bid, along with all charges and revenue share arrangements.
Suppliers will be expected to work closely with both Estates and IT departments within the Healthboard.
