Paignton set for 100-home boost
More than 100 homes are being proposed for a site in Paignton.Torbay Development Agency is behind the application, which concerns land either side of Preston Down Road.Also included is public open space, green infrastructure and highways improvements.The make-up of the properties would be eight flats, six bungalows and 87 houses.”The proposed scheme has been shaped by detailed pre-application discussions with Torbay Council and Devon County Council, as well as a comprehensive community engagement exercise, which has included a public exhibition as well as meetings with Paignton Forum,” said the planning statement.The application is with Torbay Council.
