Evesham development site brought to market
A former Evesham college site earmarked for redevelopment has been placed on the market by Harris Lamb. The 4.15-acre site on Davies Road comprises the southern part of the Evesham College Campus, made up of part car parking provision along with vacant college buildings. The college will be retaining the buildings to the north of the site and running educational courses from the reduced campus. Meanwhile, an indicative scheme has been designed to utilise this site for 57 two- and three-bedroom houses.James Willcock, of Harris Lamb’s residential land team, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for developers seeking suitable sites for development to address to demand for additional quality homes in Evesham.”The land parcel is in a great location, situated just a few minutes from the A46, and surrounded by established retailers, parks and residential properties. The town centre, which is a short walk away, has a wide range of shops, schools, sports clubs, leisure centres and restaurants, and the site itself is very well served by bus links to and from Worcester, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon.”With demand for quality housing remaining high throughout Worcestershire, we are confident that there will be a great deal of interest in this development opportunity from a number of developers offering different schemes. As such, we will be accepting both unconditional offers, and those subject to planning consent.”
