EOI for selection of IT firm to develop an information management and visualisation system.
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the World Bank (with co-financing from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank -AIIB) to finance Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Human Capital Development Project. It intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The purchasing authority intends to apply a portion of mentioned credit to hire a competent, qualified, and experienced IT firm to assist the authority to develop an Information Management and Visualisation (IMV) System. This will consist of a real time data collection, mobile app, web admin portal, dynamic and interactive dashboard system. The IMV system will be established in all 98 upazilas (sub districts) under the project area and respective management of authorities will use this monitoring system.
The system will aid the project with:
real time data collection
generation of required data visualisation reports and indicators progress as defined by the project
allowing management for easier access to information with the help of the dashboard system, so that they can take informative managerial decisions to achieve the project goals.
The system should be replicable for the future activities.
Scope includes:
development of a database containing all the necessary data points of all the components of the project needs
web application development containing different module, for example web based admin module, application programing interface (API) development, report generation module, data migration module, dynamic survey module, feedback module and the like
development of a mobile app for data collection to collect and generate all field level data
development of a dashboard system and web map demographic visualisation
a dashboard system with an easy filtering system so that all information can be
easily filtered by location (98 upazila), component wise and progress status of the project
development of the interface to validate the information and data entered into the system with certain cross and checks built into the system to eliminate the error
providing training on the use and operation for preparation of training manual and user
manual, capacity building of IT personnel to update and maintain the application and training to post, update and handling the application system
providing technical support for databases and maintenance of the platform during the consultancy services (9 months) along with 48 months maintenance services
