4. Description: Coventry University is now developing a new high-precision digital manufacturing and healthcare technology lab to link education in the fields of engineering and allied health, as well as a number of other application areas.

The lab is a joint project between our faculty of engineering environment and computing and the faculty of health and life sciences. This lab will enhance our expertise in digital manufacturing focussing on improvements to the whole life cycle of manufacturing processes.

The vision of which is to enable the access to state-of-the-art facilities, demonstration of knowledge and skills in areas relevant to practice.

The requirement will be broken down into the following lots:

Lot 1 – Metal 3D Printer x 3
Lot 2a – Composite 3D Printer, small volume x 2
Lot 2b – Composite 3D Printer, medium volume x 1
