A pipeline has been launched for Damp Proofing, Mould & Associated Works (DPS0004).The contract start Date is 14 August 2023. Approach to market date is 1 August 2023.EEM is looking to create a list of approved Contractors who can deliver a number of or all of the following elements of work during the course of the Dynamic Purchasing System:Damp Proofing• Injection of liquid DPC’s (BBA Certified)• Repair works to damp damaged finishes and fittings• Repair and remediation works to joists and other timbers (damp damage)• Cavity Wall Insulation removal and reinstallation and ancillary worksCellar & Below Ground Waterproofing• Cementitious Systems• Cavity Wall/Floor Membranes• Sump Pump SystemsCondensation Control• Ventilation Measures• Mould DNA Testing• Mould Treatment• Mould RemovalTimber TreatmentsWorks under this category may consist of:• Treatment of Wet and Dry Rot• Treatment of Woodworm Infestations• Stopping the Source of Moisture• Damaged Area Removal• Timber ReplacementSensors & Information• Air Quality Monitoring• Ventilation Systems installations and other smart devicesAssociated worksWhere necessary, in order to complete the works, kitchen units, bathroom suites, and other fittings and fixtures (including plumbing and electrical element) will need to be removed. These units, fittings and fixtures should be re-fixed by the contractor conducting the work. Carpets and furniture may also need to be temporarily relocated whilst the works are being undertaken.Works will also include for the making good of any damaged or disturbed surfaces including re-plastering, re-fixing/replacement of floorboards, ceilings, skirting boards etc.Contractors must be a member of Property Care Association or equivalent Trade Association and hold the relevant CSCS card to be awarded a place on the DPS, including this requirement gives our Members confidence that they are appointing competent and compliant contractors.The above is subject to change.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
