Work begins on build of housing development in Drumchapel
CRUDEN Homes has commenced work on the build of 48 new homes in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow. The housebuilder said that the build comes at a time when ‘demand continues to soar’ for new homes in Glasgow, with the first phase of properties due to be complete by early spring next year. The development enjoys an elevated position with panoramic views over the Kilpatrick Hills, surrounded by an abundance of green space and woodland, including the popular Cleddans Burn trail.Located eight miles from Glasgow’s City Centre, Cruden said the development benefits from excellent transport links, including regular bus and train services. Glasgow’s West End is also within easy reach with its restaurants, bars, and shops. The modern, energy-efficient homes at Cleddans Grove will offer ‘high quality’ and ‘thoughtfully specified’ properties ideal for buyers, Cruden Homes said. The new homes will comprise two and three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes, as well as four-bedroom townhouses – all with front and back gardens.Hazel Davies, sales & marketing director of Cruden Homes, said, “Our award-winning, spacious new homes offer buyers exceptional quality and value for money. Given the scarcity of new family homes, particularly within such close proximity to Glasgow City Centre, we’re anticipating high demand. We urge potential buyers to register their interest as soon as possible to avoid missing out.”
