A pipeline has been launched for PIN – DfT Spaceflight UK Launch Insurance Policy and Re-entry Risk.The contract start Date is 3 July 2023. Approach to market date is 3 July 2023.This is a PIN with a Questionnaire for suppliers to submit feedback, which will inform the potential procurement relating to UK launch insurance policy and assessing risk to civil aviation from re-entry debris arising from UK spacecraft and launch vehicle debris.All information, including how to submit responses, can be found in the attached document. We welcome all feedback.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
