Land Deal Paves Way for Bolton Housing Scheme

Ashberry Homes has completed the acquisition of land which was once part of Bolton Wanderers’ training ground. The housebuilder is lining up a new residential development at the site.With planning permission granted for the land off Academy Way in Lostock, Bolton., Ashberry Homes will develop 59 new build homes at the 3.78 acre site.The new development will be known as The Academy, paying homage to the former use of the site.Ashberry Homes will deliver a selection of three and four bedroom homes, incorporating a range of semi-detached and detached homes. There will also be nine two bedroom affordable homes available.Work will start on site next month, with a showhome scheduled to open early 2024.Grace Yarlett, sales director at Ashberry Homes, said: “We are thrilled to have acquired land in Bolton and receive planning consent for The Academy.
