Pipeline Framework: Any Qualified Provider (AQP) – Domiciliary Care and Support for Adults and Children and Young People with Continuing Healthcare Needs in Northamptonshire
A pipeline has been launched for Any Qualified Provider (AQP) – Domiciliary Care and Support for Adults and Children and Young People with Continuing Healthcare Needs in Northamptonshire.The contract start Date is 1 April 2024. Approach to market date is 2 August 2023.NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board (NICB) wish to establish a list of qualified providers who can provide high quality, person centred and flexible care in two separate Lots for Domiciliary Care and Support for Adults and Children and Young People with continuing healthcare needs.Lot 1 – Domiciliary Care and Support for Adults with continuing healthcare needs will cover domiciliary care services to adults aged 18 and over who have been assessed as eligible to receive continuing healthcare. The term ‘Domiciliary Care’ is being used to describe care and support services delivered to an individual in their own home including 24-hr support.Lot 2 – Domiciliary Care and Support for Children and Young People with continuing care needs covers people aged 0-18. Care and support needs will be identified and commissioned as a Care Package. The Provider will be expected to meet each child or young person’s care needs.The service will be procured through an Any Qualified Provider process which is anticipated to be published in early August 2023. NICB wish to invite interested organisations to a market engagement event which will be held at 10am on Tuesday 1st August 2023. The event is an opportunity for interested organisations to meet Commissioners and ask any questions regarding the service and procurement process. If your organisation does not have an Atamis account, you can register for free via the link belowThis is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
