Phase two plans in for Shrewsbury development
An application has been submitted outlining the second phase of a major commercial development in Shrewsbury.Centurion Park comprises 24 trade park units ranging in size from 1,237 sq ft to 2,507 sq ft.Morris Company Ltd are now seeking planning permission for the park’s second phase which involves the demolition of the remaining WWI-era military buildings at Kendal Road, originally constructed as part of a Royal Flying Corps road transport depot.They would be replaced by six buildings providing a total of 24 light industrial units.Each unit is intended to be 2,000 sq ft or 3,000 sq ft and designed to be let in any combination.The second phase also includes 160 car parking spaces, evenly distributed throughout the site.
