Plans in for Bromfords Gloucestershire scheme
Bromford’s plans to bring forward almost 160 new homes have been submitted.The company is looking to advance 158 properties for a site off Old Gloucester Road in Hambrook.The reserved matters application has now been revealed, which provides further details on the plans.Lined up are six one-bed flats, 36 two-bed flats, 26 two-bed houses, 68 three-bed houses and 18 four-bed houses. There would also be four M4(3)-compliant, meaning they are wheelchair-use dwellings.”The proposed development will deliver 158no. affordable homes, making the proposed development the largest affordable housing scheme within South Gloucestershire and a significant betterment on the 35 per cent provision secured by the outline permission,” said the planning statement.”There is an acute affordable housing requirement in South Gloucestershire, and as such this represents a material consideration with significant beneficial weight pertinent to the determination of the application.”
