Go-ahead for 100 Perthshire homes
Perth and Kinross Council approved the proposal for new homes on land 150 metres south of Station House, Forfar Road, The Courier reports.The houses will range from two to five bedrooms, as well as a number of bungalows and cottage flats. Campion said the “high-quality, modern homes” will make a “significant contribution” to meeting local housing needs.Brian Robb of Dunfermline-based Oliver & Robb Architects told the planning committee that the project will “undoubtedly have a positive effect on the local economy, creation of jobs and sustainability of existing services within Meigle”.The Forfar Road site is currently being used for crop production.
