Glencar to build regional hub for national courier
Construction company Glencar has been appointed to build a regional hub for a national delivery company at the 200-acre New Stanton Park development in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.The company has been recruited by new customer Verdant Regeneration to construct a 20,400 sq ft facility for DX Group.The hub and depot will provide additional regional capacity and improve efficiency by reducing stem mileage.Pete Goodman, managing director – UK Midlands, North and Ireland, said: “We are very happy to have been appointed by new customer Verdant Regeneration on what will be the first development to come out of the ground at this brand new strategically located development site which has been a long time in the planning.”This development has been designed with sustainability at the core which, when combined with large amounts of amenity and green space at New Stanton Park, will see fishing ponds, rural walkways and cycle tracks all enhanced to link the site and wider communities.”Glencar is fully committed to sustainable construction and a sustainable future.
