Pipeline Framework: GLA Skills Unit Anchor Support Programme
A pipeline has been launched for GLA Skills Unit Anchor Support Programme.The contract start Date is 27 March 2024. Approach to market date is 27 November 2023.The Greater London Authority (GLA) is seeking a supplier to deliver a twelve (12) month programme of activity to support City Hall funded adult skills providers meet two (2) of the mayor’s expectations set out in the Skills Roadmap for London, for providers to:- Be good employers that are inclusive and representative of the communities they serve- Meet or work towards the mayor’s Good Work Standard, including becoming an accredited Living Wage employer paying the London Living Wage (LLW).The expected outputs from this programme are:- A twelve (12) month programme of tailored support for twenty (20) adult skills providers, including workshops, coaching and 1:1 support- An evaluation of the effectiveness of the programme, and the progress made by providers over the twelve (12) month period.The programme should target:- Ten (10) London based Further Education Colleges and- Ten (10) London based Independent Training Providers (ITPs)This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
