A pipeline has been launched for 23116 CCC Children in Care.The contract start Date is 1 September 2024. Approach to market date is 18 December 2023.Cambridgeshire County Council has ambitious plans to increase our provision of local children’s homes for Children in Care.They will focus on children with complex needs and those needing intensive support either as part of a short term or long term placement.These would be in small home settings for up to two children at any time.We are wanting to gain views from providers on delivering the services, once buildings have been secured by the Council.We want to gain views from providers on:The service we are looking to provideTimescales for getting service up and running; set up and mobilisationThe needs of children that we need to provide the services toWhat support providers would need to deliver this serviceHow providers could work with us in partnership to develop and deliver these plansAny views on the running of the service in a council buildingGeneral views on the finance and sustainability of the serviceThere will be general presentations from Children in Care Services and Children’s Commissioning.There will also be opportunities for small group discussions.The event will be held on line and will take place online on 18 Dec 2023 from 11 am to 12:30 pm.To register please follow the link to book via Eventbrite.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
