Midlands developer agreed £2.8m Section 106 agreement for 210-home project
A local developer is contributing more than £2.8m to Shepshed and nearby areas through a new community of 210 homes in the village.Persimmon Homes North Midlands is overseeing the development, known as Jubilee Rise, which introduces a range of residences to address local housing needs.20% of the properties will be allocated to a housing association partner for rent and shared ownership.Under section 106, £2.1m will be directed towards local education provision, £349,000 for improvements to local highways, and £114,000 designated for local healthcare.The initial residences at Jubilee Rise are now available for purchase, and the on-site sales cabin opened in January.
