5. Description: The Irfon catchment Sustainable Management Scheme (SMS) wants to purchase 20 cattle collars along with batteries, straps and licence.
This is to test the effectiveness of grazing molinia by cattle to improve biodiversity over the next 12 months. It will also be used on floodplains in the Irfon catchment preventing cattle grazing near to water course to improve water quality. Data will be used to see the effect on swards and the difference in plant species.
