II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The PIN invitation relates to an open tender below the Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) threshold for goods to appoint a single suitably qualified supplier to supply, deliver and commission a maximum of four (4) Low-Latency Real-Time 64:128 PAUT Controllers. The University of Strathclyde’s Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE) Department secured grand funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The Contract duration is anticipated to be for a period of twenty-eight (28) months inclusive of a two (2) year warranty and anticipated 16 week lead time. The Contracting Authority requires a supplier that can fulfill the below
non-exhaustive list of requirements:
The offered equipment must feature 64:128 PAUT Channels
The offered equipment must feature 1 PAUT Hypertronic Probe Connector
The offered equipment must feature >4 Conventional Ultrasonic Channels
The offered equipment must feature > 200 V Pulsers on all PAUT and Conventional Channels
The offered equipment must feature > 30 kHz Phased Array Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF)
The offered equipment must feature > 12 bit Receiver Analogue Digital Convertor (ADC) Resolution
The offered equipment must feature >110 dB Receiver True Analog Gain Including Time Corrected Gain (TCG)
The offered equipment must feature ability to hardware synchronise further units to maximum of 8 Units (512: 1024)
The awarded supplier must be able to commit to a maximum delivery lead time of 16 weeks from the point of contract award.
