Green light for commercial space on 28-acre Shrewsbury site
Morris Property has been granted planning permission for commercial space at its 28-acre site on Oteley Road in Shrewsbury.Units ranging from 1,850 sq ft to 175,000 sq ft will be available to purchase or rent from Summer 2024 at Stadium Point. Once completed, more than 350 jobs will be based on the site.The development will have build-to-suit opportunities and amenities, including public transport access, cycle storage, and electric vehicle parking. The site also features a footpath network with landscaped break-out areas.Additionally, Stadium Point is near a Lidl supermarket, and Meole Brace Retail Park that features brands such as Marks & Spencer Food Store, Sainsbury’s, Next, and Boots.Chris Morris, Director, of Morris Property, said: “Despite keen demand for business units on this side of the town, we are aware that economic times remain tough, so we have designed our units to be cost and energy-efficient.
