Housebuilder unveils plans for 54-home development
Staffordshire housebuilder, Cameron Homes has unveiled plans for the construction of 54 houses on a 2.12-hectare site located off Mapperley Plains in Nottingham.Situated on the northern fringe of Arnold, the development was recently removed from the Green Belt area and allocated for housing.The planning application was submitted by planning consultancy Grace Machin.The proposed scheme comprises 54 family homes, including 2, 3, 4, and 5-bedroom houses – incuding 30% affordable housing, and a mix of social rent and first homes.The development aims to strike a balance between housing provision and amenities, with added parking spaces, amenity areas, and landscaping integrated into the design.Looking ahead, Cameron Homes intends to apply for Reserved Matters planning to “ensure the cohesive development of the site” with neighbouring properties.
