Refinery is seeking to engage a supplier for pipelines.
The refinery needs a pipeline supplier conforming to ANSI B31.3, Process Piping for Chemical Plant and Petroleum Refinery, 20th edition or later. All flanges and flange fittings shall conform to ANSI B 16.5.
All piping materials, components and valves supplied must be accompanied by a certified mill test report from the manufacturer denoting at least the following:

heat number
chemical composition
yield strength
tensile strength
percentage elongation
brinell hardness number
surface quality inspection
dimension inspection
flaw detection
penetration inspection

Steel pipe:
schedules and weights shall be in accordance with the requirements of ANSI B36.10
shall be ASTM A106 Gr. B or API 5L, Grade B, seamless
sizes Smaller than 2 – inches shall be ASTM A-106 Schedule 80
sizes larger 2 – inches shall be schedule 40 for sizes up to and including 10 inches
sizes larger than 10 inches shall have 0.375 – inch wall thickness
