Logistics firm submits plans for new head office
A logistics company, which works with international clients, has lodged plans to build a new head office and warehousing unit at Venture Point Business Park in Speke, in a move which would create a host of jobs.Noesis Logistics wants to erect the two-storey office block, with 33 parking spaces, at Plot 3 of the Speke business park. The company, which is involved in the import and distribution of products for international clients, had previously secured planning permission for a similar scheme, which was later stalled. The revised plans have been enhanced to create a bigger space, comprising a 20,085 sq ft warehouse with a 4,391 sq ft office. The 1.3-acre plot has been used for Noesis’ HGV parking for the last few years.A design and access statement submitted with the plans said that the scheme will enable the company to centralise its operations and will be the main base for central sales, main management and driver management. It added that about 30 staff will be employed on site, most of which will be new jobs. The site would operate 24/7 with about 20 HGV visits per day.Liverpool Council will review the application in due course.
