Bids invited to design, acquire and install a battery energy storage system
The National Petroleum Corporation (NPC) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the design, supply and installation of battery energy storage systems (BESSs), for the BNOCL and NPC in Barbados. Bidders may bid on either of the two lots or both lots
The time for completion of each lot and combined lots 1 and 2, is 6-9 months from the effective date of the contract
Lot 1 relates to a 0.975 MW/3.9 MWh BESS at the BNOCL, Woodbourne, St Philip location
Lot 2 is in relation to a BESS for the NPC consisting of 0.145 MW solar rooftop and a proposed 0.150 MW at a car parking system, both located at the office in St Michael, Barbados.
