Market Deeping site earmarked for up to 80 homes
A site located to the north-west of Market Deeping has been earmarked for the construction of up to 80 homes.The Rathbone Trust has lodged outline plans for land off the B1524 Peterborough Road to the west.The site comprises an area of approximately 16.4 acres and is currently used as arable and scrub grassland.A mix of dwelling types and sizes would be provided, including a 30 per cent provision of affordable housing.A statement filed with South Kesteven District Council on behalf of the applicant said: “The development will have the ability to deliver a built form which is high-quality, attractive, safe and well-connected, capitalising on the inclusion of the Deeping’s Green Walk and footpaths through the site’s boundaries.”
