Consultation starts on Leeds South Bank scheme
Views are being sought on plans for the creation of 170 homes on Leeds’ South Bank.Bankfoot APAM, on behalf of site owner NPV Leeds, is seeking feedback on the proposals for purpose-built apartments for rent on the site of Zurich House, off Water Lane.Plans include 170 energy-efficient apartments, ranging in size from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom units. All the homes will be available to rent, and an affordable provision will be made within the development.People are being asked for feedback on the plans, which also include communal amenities for residents, as well as landscaping and a residents’ roof garden, plus a host of sustainable design features, such as on-site renewablesEmily Myers, senior development manager for Bankfoot APAM, said: “We would encourage as many people as possible to take part in the consultation to let us know what they think about the plans.”We aim to provide high-quality new homes in Leeds to allow a broad mix of people to enjoy city living and all Leeds has to offer.”Following the consultation process a planning application will be submitted to Leeds City Council.
