110-home Kirkdale plans approved
Up to 110 homes could soon be built in Kirkdale after councillors gave the green light to the proposed redevelopment of land off Commercial Road.Liverpool City Council’s planning committee has approved Trophy Homes’ proposals to transform a vacant 0.9-acre site next to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The plot is located to the south of the Tobacco Wharf residential development.Outline planning consent has been granted for access, scale and layout. Appearance and landscaping will be considered at a later date.The scheme, designed by Snow Architects, comprises two buildings of which the tallest will be six storeys high. Public open space and onsite car parking are also being planned.Euan Kellie Property Solutions was the town planning consultant on the project.
