£1m investment to expand council-run health centre
A Middlesbrough health and wellness centre is to expand by more than 50 per cent, with a £1m investment enabling it to occupy a further two floors of space.The Live Well Centre is to add almost 13,000 sq ft of space after Middlesbrough Council agreed a 10-year lease on floors five and six at Dundas House.The centre currently hosts a gym, studio, training kitchen, open IT facilities, café and office space.Plans for the new space will be subject to a public consultation, though could include conference rooms, a meditation suite and more accommodation for complementary health and wellbeing businesses. Middlesbrough-based commercial property consultants Dodds Brown secured the new lease on behalf of Dundas House landlord Contract Experts.
