300 homes planned for prospective business park
Plans to build 300 homes on land in Swindon previously planned for the site of a business park have been given a boost after officers recommended them for approval.The plans, for Badbury Park in Swindon, make up phase three of a development at the Land at Commonhead site, which also has approval for an 890-home developmentThis application sits partially within that site but it proposes a further 300 housing units accompanied by open space, upon the land previously designated and approved for a business park.Swindon Borough Council’s planning committee will consider the plans on Tuesday.
